Stay Positive

No matter what. I think it is the motto. It’s not about behaving silly in situations that require being serious. It means “think positively”: Problems are just challenges, challenges make life interesting. Challenges make you better. If there are none, just have a look around: life is just damn beautiful! It is not easy, to keep this attitude. Especially in a group of people, be it a couple, a group of friends or the whole office: everyone should contribute. But think of it: how awesome it would be, to always see a smile, determination to continue, to challenge, to get shit done.

Stay positive. No matter what. And things could just get a little more pleasant.

Days Off

Hi everybody. Sorry for being completely inactive last days. I got a little sick and didn’t do much last week except for working, consuming immense amounts of tea and sleeping. Tomorrow we’re driving to Italy for a week so most likely there will be no activity during that time either.. I wish you all a great weekend and a nice week.

Project Nihon: Chapter 9

Good Sunday morning to everybody. Today promises to be sunny in Berlin, and I pretty much hope it will be. It’s been now more than two weeks that I am publishing Project Nihon, and now, meet one of the last chapters of it – Chapter 9: Streets of Japan.Project Nihon: Chapter 9Thanks to everybody who gave their feedback. Next week the project will be over, so I will have some time to shoot *g*, which makes me thrilled 🙂 Enjoy the Sunday. Stay tuned!

Sometimes you bump into something and you think “oh, son of a bitch”. Sometimes, you just think “bitch.”

Updates

Good morning everyone. Today is already Wednesday, work week is almost halfway done, and there’s still so much to do before the weekend that I wish I have at least some 30 hours in a day. But, well, most likely I’d have to live with what I’ve got, that is, twenty-four, trying to be as productive as possible.

Weather in Berlin is now giving a surprise every day: being +12 one day and just +2 the other. On Saturday, with Matt (btw, check out his project, trailburning.com), I did a jog in Grünewald, half the time off-road. It was slightly windy, slightly muddy and slightly raining, but the coolest part of it was ‘climbing’ Teufelsberg two times as well as and Drachenberg once. Just 8k total distance, but oh-my-gosh how challenging it was.

This is how track looked together with elevation profile (and you don’t want to see my heart rate graph, *g*, I never knew it could work that hard):Gruenewald TrackGruenewald Run Elevation Profile

So, if you want some hill run in Berlin, take that track, it’s awesome 🙂 And challenging.
That’s it for the updates 🙂 See you soon with a new Chapter of Project Nihon!

Stay tuned!

Project Nihon: Chapter 6

Good morning, everybody! Today is Monday, start of another work week. I wish everybody a successful and a productive one! And, traditionally (more than three times could be called a tradition, right?) I am sharing with you Project Nihon Chapter 6: People of Japan:Project Nihon: Chapter 6 - People of JapanMore I go through the project, more I am getting excited about driving it forward and publishing a book at the end. Perhaps this time just for me, perhaps for friends willing to invest, but why not? Would you back that project to get one yourself?

Enjoy Monday, and see you next time!

Project Nihon: Chapter 5

Hi everybody. I am sorry, today I am much later than usual. That is, so much is happening around and, apparently, posting a chapter every second day is still a lot of work: even though structure and content are mostly done, one need to refine, add captions and text, see that all the details are done correctly, check everything several times and, finally, publish. But weekend is weekend, no matter how much time you take during the day, you still got a night to follow up on stuff you’re late 😉

So, meet Project Nihon: Chapter 5 – Temples – First Insight:Project Nihon, Chapter 4: Temples - First Insight

I really hope you like it. It actually matters a lot to me when I see any responses, because then I know, that I am doing it right. Frankly, so far I see just a few, but that’s enough to keep going.

See you next time, soon 🙂

Project Nihon: Chapter 4

Good morning, everyone! Keeping it up, even though it has proven a bit more challenging than I’ve expected: meet Chapter 4: Japan on the MoveProject Nihon, Chapter 4: Japan on the Move

Probably, one of my top favourite topics, not just from this trip, but in general – public transportation. Have fun watching! And see you next time!
